Meet the 2024/2025 Board
Vallemar PTO is an all-volunteer, parent-run, non-profit organization committed to enhancing and enriching the education of our children and fostering a sense of community within our schools. All Vallemar parents and guardians are members of the PTO!
PTO Board Positions are available with varying time commitments, skills, and include roles where you can work from home or be in the schools. Each role offers flexibility to make your own unique impact! Get to know the parents who are working on the PTO board this year:
Tas Suvunnachuen
Co-President
We love many things about our Vallemar School community. The PTO, the teachers, and the staff made us feel welcome and connected from day one. We feel lucky to be a part of this family. This is my fourth year serving on the PTO Board. I look forward to working with this community to support and enrich students’ education.
Katherine Kelly
Co-Publicity Secretary
Mom of a 1st grader, looking forward to making it easier for parents to stay up to date on happenings around the school!
Erin Acharya
Parent Council Representative
We've called Pacifica home for the past 10 years, living in the Vallemar neighborhood with our two 3rd graders and one 6th grader. I've served as Accounts Payable Treasurer, Parent Council Rep, and PEF Ambassador. I’m passionate about our community and teachers and eager to discuss our district’s long-term goals. I also enjoy planning the Elna Flynn awards ceremony to honor our outstanding volunteers. You might spot us walking our two dogs past the school!
